Putting Master Class

The bespoke Putting Studio equipped with Puttview, Sam Putt Lab and Sam Balance Lab makes our indoor facility one of the best for lessons and putter fittings. Our indoor 10m x 7m green designed by Puttview and which renowned putting coach Phil Kenyon was involved in the design stage . We created a green with every scenario such as uphill, downhill, left break, right break, hills etc . We are the first and only facility in Ireland with Puttview. We have 4 practice greens maintained to the same spec as the course within walking distance of the 1st Tee.

Members and Guests can book a normal putting lesson by going to the individual lessons on the website. The Putting Master Class is for small groups and is a great way for your Fourball or group to get to use and learn the fundamentals and best practices for putting.

Putting Lesson
The SAM PuttLab is an analysis tool and training system based on accurate ultrasound measurements. It analyses the 28 most important parameters of your putting stroke and displays the result in east-to-understand graphics. Within second, the system gives you and individual feedback of your stroke. The analysis reveals even the smallest details of your movements and allows you to develop improvements and training strategies based on the given results.

The SAM Balance Lab measures the golfers weight distribution at set up and during the stroke. By measuring weight distribution the use of a forceplate enables the coach to assess static and dynamic balance.

A major barrier to developing an effective putting stroke can be an ill-fitting putter. In the Putting Master Class your putter will be measured and custom-fit to the correct length and lie angle to suit you.

Green reading:
The session will then move to the putting green where your green reading skills will be developed using Puttview. Understanding how the professionals approach and read the greens is a vital piece of the jigsaw in allowing you to maximise your ability on the putting surface.  The visualation using PuttView makes this process as easy as possible for the golfer to understand and learn.
